CGT: Providing Reliable Marine Solutions
CGT Marine provides solutions for all sailing needs, and features a suite of products and services designed to make your yachting experience a pleasure.

MaK heart for a ferry
CGT delivered two MaK VM43C engines, each of 12,600 kW, for the propulsion of a ferry that will transport people and vehicles.

Navi Chioggia chooses our solutions
The 40m Supply Vessel is a luxury yacht designed to guarantee unmatched comfort and safety in all conditions. CGT supplied a propulsion package with C32 engines, designed to meet the requirements of both a yacht and a supply vessel: power, robustness, reliability and innovation, technology and respect for the environment.

Marine - MaK dual fuel
The new Mak M43-46 dual fuel engines use Liquefied Natural Gas to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency in certain applications.

CGT supplies electricity to M.O.S.E. barges
M.O.S.E. uses special barges for the maintenance of the bulkheads. The electricity needed is generated by 4 Cat 3516B (6.4MW) generators and 2 Cat 3512C (2.3MW) generators.

CGT powers Baglietto
Baglietto has chosen our solutions to power their own 54-55m steel and aluminum constructions. Specifically, these are Cat 3512C HD or 3516C (1500 - 2000 kW at 1600 rpm) engines, complete with alarms and control units, and CAT C7.1 ACERT (150 ekW at 50 Hz), Cat C6.6 ACERT (143 ekW at 50 Hz) and Cat C4.4 (65 ekW at 50 Hz) generators. CGT also supplied a PTO/PTI reduction gear setup, which makes it possible to transform the propulsion system from a classic diesel into an innovative hybrid system considerably cutting down fuel consumption and reducing un-burnt emissions into the atmosphere.
